Keum-Boo is a Korean word meaning "attached gold", and is an ancient gilding technique used to apply thin sheets of gold to silver. These cup studs are made from sterling silver and have 24k gold fused to the inside.  The earings are finished with a dark patina. They are light weight.   Earring posts are sterling sivler.  1.1 cm x 1.1 cm x 4 cm. Each earring weighs 1 gram.
